Welcome to the
Circus Area Residents Association
The Circus Area Residents Association (CARA) was formed almost thirty years ago, in order to represent the views of residents and businesses located within the Circus area’s wider catchment.
In addition to the Circus itself, CARA’s catchment area includes twenty-four additional streets, with its membership being reflective of both local residents from those streets and a number of local businesses. (See below “CARA – Neighbourhood Catchment Area”).
Membership of CARA is open to all residents and businesses within the defined neighbourhood catchment area, who support the aims and objectives of the association.
Associate membership of CARA is also available to residents outside the CARA catchment area, who also support the aims and objectives of the association.
CARA is a member of FOBRA, the Federation of Bath Residents Associations.
Objectives of CARA
- To protect and enhance the environment of the CARA catchment area for the benefit of those who live and work in it.
- To foster a social and community spirit amongst all residents.
- To represent the collective interests of the residents of the area with the local authority and other bodies.
(Note: Our CARA Constitution and CARA membership form can be found displayed on our membership page here.)
