CARA would like to let members know about a charity event next month.
The Prince’s Trust will be hosting its fourth Evening of Art at the prestigious Assembly Rooms in Bath on 30th November 2017, raising money to support disadvantaged young people in Bath and the South West.
The event brings together art-lovers to view and bid on exclusive artwork kindly donated by famed and local artists such as Sir Peter Blake CBE, Anita Klein, Nick Park CBE, and Daisy Sims Hilditch, in order to raise vital funds to support young people. The evening will be followed by a three course dinner, speeches and live auction.
Sir Peter Blake CBE is an English pop artist, best known for co-creating the sleeve design for the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Anita Klein is one of the most collected printmakers working in Britain today, Nick Park CBE is the creator of Wallace and Gromit, and Daisy Sims Hilditch was recently selected for the BP Awards at the National Portrait Gallery and has been exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the Mall.
Previous art auction events organised by The Prince’s Trust have raised £231,000, which has been used by the youth charity to help young people in the South West get into work, training or education.
Tickets are priced at £1,500 for a table of 10, this includes a champagne reception, and a three-course dinner.
